Maine - the way life should be... and they are right. Well, on Saturday Maine might not have shown its best side with absolutely torrential rains. But it made the coast line quite dramatic with the ocean crashing up against the cliffs. Sunday on the other hand - gorgeous. Blue skies, summer warmth, brunch outside on Commercial street in Portland, walks along the beach, great photo ops. What more can one ask for? Photos and more to follow shortly.
The old New England saying "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute", really applied this week as we have had all 4 seasons tucked into one week. Makes for being appropriately dressed for the weather a bit of a challenge.
EVOO and Hungry Mother - check them out! Sounds yummy!
... that you can stay overnight at the Aquarium? Honestly, how cool is that! It's for families and the kids must be 6+. Wake up among jelly fish and be 'alone' in splendid surroundings. The kids will love it!
Welcome to the new and fresher look of lovebostonwithme.com! The whole site has gotten a whole new look but the calendar is probably what has changed the most - for the better we hope! All information from the 'old' site has been moved, more restaurants added, new seasonal activities (everyone is out picking apples and pumpkins right now so of course we had to add that) + more activities and updated photos. More to come!
