Shop 'til you drop

Picture
It is pure fun to shop in Boston - you can find anything. If you have time to visit the outlets, you could do some real finds. In and around Boston you will find everything from small boutiques to department stores - shop ‘til you drop! We have just mentioned some of our favorites stores here - there are lots more!

Newbury Street
The main shopping street of Boston with everything from high end boutiques to departments stores. You will find the flagship store for Banana Republic, DKNY, Ann Taylor, Brook’s Brothers, Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, NIKE, Anthropology, and lots of speciality stores. You can spend days strolling up and down. Filene’s (bargain) basement can also be found on Newbury street (you can also enter from Boylston street) - the basement is a Boston institution. It’s crazy and you don’t want to make this your last stop. It’s right next to H&M.

You will find lots of restaurants and cafe’s on Newbury Street too. Or why not go for a manicure or pedicure, or visit a spa or hair salon?

Boylston Street

Parallell with Newbury Street where you will find Crate and Barrel, Marshall's, Paper Source and many, many others. Lord & Taylor is a great department store for dresses, shoes and coats.

Paper Source (338 Boylston street, close to the park, 617 536 3444, GREAT paper store, cards, wrapping paper, calendars, invitations, paper in all sizes and colors, stationary, gifts, cool things. If you love paper, you HAVE to go here.

Prudential Center A great shopping mall in the middle of the city. Open 10am - 8pm. Great view of the city too.

Copley Place Mall  A high end shopping galleria, classy with stores like Tiffany’s, Polo Ralph Lauren and Armani.

Charles Street
The most charming street in Boston. Lots of little clothing boutiques, antique stores, restaurants and cafes. Just stroll around and you will find plenty of fun stores. There are quite the selection of antique stores here too.

Rugg Road  Great paper store, beautiful cards, wrapping paper, and gifts. If you have a gift you´d like to wrap, they will do it for you. And believe us, they do it MUCH better....

Black Ink Such a fun store! lots of gifts, cards, fun things, toys from your childhood, and weird things... a really fun place to browse)

There is so much more than those two, just come visit!
South End
Trendy area with fun little shops, no malls here, usually modern with an edge, many home decorating shops. And tons of great restaurants.

Wrentham Village Shopping Outlets this is THE place to get great deals - Polo Ralph Lauren, NIKE, Saks 5th avenue, Barney’s, Burberry, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Nine West, Hugo Boss, Coach, Gap, Timberland and hundreds more.

Wrentham is convenient in that you can walk around to all shops. The food court is not so great but there are some restaurants as well. You can sign up for a discount booklet that gives you pretty good discounts in certain stores. More information on their website.

It takes about 40 minutes to drive there. Go 93 south to 95 south to 495 north, exit 15. There are buses too. Check the website.

The Kittery Outlets is another option. They are in Maine, just across the border. Takes about an hour to get there. In Kittery you have to drive between the stores. It is huge.... Lots of restaurants as well.
