August 2010

Picture
Still summer in New England and it can be quite hot and humid. Lots going on with Water Fire in Providence, RI, festivals and outdoor movies.

Enjoy!

September 2010

Hands down our favorite month of the year. New England is beautiful with pleasant weather, many art festivals and artist's open studios and we cannot forget to mention Brimfield Antique Fair. A great month to be outside and enjoy all that New England has to offer. Best month to visit if you have a choice.

Take advantage of all that's going on this month!

October 2010

Picture
Another great month in New England. Take a drive and watch the colors of the trees turn - a sight that must be seen first hand. Stop at a farmers market and pick up some pumpkins, apples, and fun Halloween decorations. Halloween is of course the culmination of October.

Happy Halloween!

November 2010

Picture
November can see some colder weather but everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving at the end of the month.  Time to bring out the cosy jackets and head out to some museums, movies and the theatre. Or go for a walk somewhere!

Happy Thanksgiving!

December 2010

Picture
We might see some snow in December which makes this already beautiful city even more beautiful. The houses in Boston are decorated with wreaths and bows. Around the holidays there are Holidays strolls and other events around the city.

New Year's Eve in Boston, 'First Night', is an event for every age group for every taste.

Happy Holidays!

January 2011

Picture
It might be (very) cold but bundle up and go snow shoeing, skiing or maybe ice skating on the Frog Pond. You can even take a dip in support of the Special Olympics.

Happy New Year!

February 2011

Picture
Valentine's Day on February 14th. Make sure to make your dinner reservations early to get the restaurant of your choice. Many events around the city for those who'd rather forget about this special day. You can participate in the 'Vasaloppet'; a cross country skiing event  based on a Swedish race.

We heart you!

St Patrick's Day, Restaurant Week and many other things keep our minds off the winter we are longing to end. Still possible to go skiing, or ice skating. The chance to visit your favorite restaurants at a fraction of what you usually pay.

Enjoy your green beverages on St Patrick's day!

April 2011

Picture
Now maybe we can get a feel for spring. Mid April we usually see the magnolia and many other beautiful trees bloom around Beacon Hill, and Back Bay (see for yourself). April also sees Boston Marathon and last but not least, Red Sox opening day!

Has spring sprung?

May 2011

Picture
Catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, or take a tour of Fenway, one of the US most popular ball parks. Art walks, Brimfield Antique Fair, Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill are other events that get us outside.

Go Sox!

June 2011

Picture
Festivals, art walks, food fests, film festivals; no shortage of things to do in June. This is also when we might get our first beach days, roof deck and back yard BBQs.

Sailing, biking and other outside activities are all over the place.

See you outside!

July 2011

Picture
Summer in full bloom. Beaches are busy, tourists descend upon Boston, sightseeing tours are filling up and it's a great time in New England. Of course, 4th of July celebrations in Boston are well known all over the US so bring a blanket and get a space to enjoy the celebrations along the river.

Happy 4th of July!
